Electrical Vehicle AC Chargers
Although simpler in nature compared to DC chargers, AC charging stations safely deliver AC power from the electrical grid into the vehicle. Littelfuse SMAJ TVS (transient voltage suppression) 400W Diodes are surface mount diodes designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. With a 400W peak Pulsepower capability at 10µs x 1000µs waveform, the SMAJ TVS 400W diodes feature a fast response time typically less than 1.0ps from 0 Volts to VBR min.
