- The Cypress Semiconductor CY7C65630 and CY7C65640A are high performance, low power USB 2.0 hub controllers. The Cypress Semiconductor CY7C65640A is a TetraHub™ self-powered USB 2.0 hub controller. The Tetra architecture provides four downstream USB ports with a transaction translator for each port, making it the highest performing hub possible. The CY7C65640A is designed for use in standalone hubs, motherboard hubs, monitor hub applications, and more. The Cypress Semiconductor CY7C65630 4-port / single transaction translator is for ultra low power applications that require four downstream ports. All four ports of the CY7C65630 USB 2.0 hub controller share a single transaction translator.
