These diodes prevent thermal runaway at high temperatures and reduce power consumption in automotive and power supply devices by approximately 40% when compared to conventional ones. The automotive Schottky diodes offer reverse voltage range between 30V to 150V and 0.03A to 40A average rectified forward current. The Automotive Schottky Barrier Diodes feature a 0.35V to 1V low forward voltage range and exhibit high ESD resistance. The low power consuming quality of these diodes makes them ideal for energy saving circuits in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs). These devices are compact in design are available in a variety of packages. The applications include small current rectification to general rectification.
