MPM Power Modules
MPS MPM Power Modules, available in single or dual channel, are integrated DC/DC solutions with excellent load and line regulation. These step-down DC-DC converters feature built-in internal power MOSFETs and power inductors. The Constant-On-Time (COT) control scheme provides a fast transient response, high light-load efficiency, and easy loop stabilization. These modules require a minimum number of readily-available standard external components, simplifying power system design. They also have a small surface-mount footprint, due to their compact QFN package. All MPS parts are lead-free, halogen-free, and adhere to the RoHS directive.
MPM3506A Synchronous Step-Down Converter
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPM3506A Synchronous Step-Down Converter comes with built-in power MOSFETs, inductor, and two capacitors. This device offers a compact solution with only 4 external components to achieve a 0.6A continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation over a wide input supply range. The MPM3506A operates in a 1.15MHz switching frequency, which provides fast load transient response.
