Vishay SMFxxA ESD protection diodes feature high surge capability of 200W at 10/1000µs, excellent clamping capability from 9.2V to 95V, and low incremental surge resistance. With the low 1mm profile of their SMF package, "Low-Noise" technology, and fast response times, these diodes are ideal for line transient voltage protection in portable electronics including laptops, notebooks, tablets, and external hard drives. The protection diodes provide ESD capability of ±30kV (air and contact discharge) in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2, support high-temperature soldering to 260°C/10s at their terminals, and meet the MSL Level 1 standard per J-STD-020. Vishay Semiconductors eSMP® SMF ESD/TVS Diodes are surface-mount ESD protection diodes in the 1mm low-profile SMF package, providing high surge capability of 200W at 10/1000µs. The SMF Diodes have fast response times, making it ideal for line transient voltage protection in portable electronics, such as laptops, notebooks, tablets, and external hard drives. The SMF Diodes offer working voltages of 5V to 58V, peak pulse current from 2.1A to 21.7A, and clamping capability from 9.2V to 95V.
